Showcase SDSI is organised by the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development (MECD) of Malaysia, in line with its role as the Head of SDSI Marketing and Promotions Committee, a national level committee lead by the Honourable Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. MECD is the agency dedicated towards developing and nurturing indigenous and cooperative entrepreneurs in Malaysia.
The SDSI programme is aimed at developing products that are commercially produced with an identity of a particular district to attract tourists in the area. The programme is held towards the development of a creative and innovative society apart from fostering a harmonious community through a socio-economic activity. |
